Go ahead and upload that great new button for your toolbar. Creating and reusing images just got easier than ever.
From now on, any image you upload for your toolbar will be saved automatically in an easily accessible icon library.
And that's not all: The library already contains all the images you uploaded in the past! Now you'll never have to upload images twice, and you'll always have instant access to them.

When it comes to gadgets for your toolbar, we're always taking that next leap ahead. In fact, two leaps!
Gadgets Library: You can now choose a gadget from the new Gadgets Library and immediately add it to your toolbar. The library has all kinds of gadgets including YouTube, iTunes, Backgammon, clocks, nutrition calculators, and many more. Users love them, so they're great stickiness boosters.

Custom Gadgets: Creating your own gadgets just got a lot simpler, too. With the new Custom Gadgets interface, you can just paste in the gadget's code and you've got it for you toolbar, hosted by us on our platform. Now you don't have to host it on your own website, although you have that option if you need it.

I have a great idea for a community toolbar. Do I need a website in order to get started?
Answer:
No, you don't. With your new toolbar, you'll also get a set of predefined pages (your toolbar's community portal) with cool content and components. You can choose from a variety of domain names for your pages, customize content and graphics, and use them as your own website.

Question:
I have my own website, and I don't want to use the portal pages that were automatically generated for my toolbar. Can I deactivate them?
Answer:
Not a problem. Just go to the Portal tab in your toolbar account and click on Edit in the Locations menu. You'll be able to list alternative pages for any of your portal pages.
